The Third-age druidic staff is part of the Third-age druidic equipment set, released on 4 August 2010 with the elite treasure trails update. It is comparable to Ahrim's staff, providing identical magic attack and defence bonuses, slightly weaker melee stats, and a +7 prayer bonus. This prayer bonus is one higher than Verac's flail, and one lower than a godsword.

It is also worth noting that it's the second strongest weapon, behind the Chaotic Staff that players with level 1 Attack and Strength can wield. Due to the price of this staff and the 65 prayer needed, players with low combat levels more commonly use the Dwarven army axe, Red topaz machete, Slayer Staff, Runecrafting staff or Talisman staff.

They can be received as a reward from elite Treasure Trails. It was revealed that the odds for getting third-age armour are between 1/100,000 and 1/1,000,000.<ref>Mod Maylea. "Treasure Trails Q&A Answers!". 28th of September 2010. News & Announcements Forums. *</ref>
