A Magic staff is a magic weapon stronger than a normal staff. Players can purchase this staff from Zaff's Superior Staves in Varrock for 200 coins. While being a fairly weak melee weapon, a mage wielding a magic staff has a significant advantage due to a +10 magic bonus.

Players usually prefer using elemental staves, due to having the same bonuses while also providing an infinite amount of the corresponding element, whereas this does not.

They are dropped by many monsters, though it is famously dropped by Moss Giants. It is also given out as a reward for the Lumbridge and Draynor tasks.
