A Staff of water is an elemental staff. It provides an unlimited amount of water runes. This item can be bought at Zaff's Staves in Varrock for 1500 coins, or at the Grand Exchange for .

If you have a crystal ball in your house you can change the element of the staff. Both the visual and magic bonus the staff of water is identical to the water battlestaff and the mystic water staff.

This staff can be useful for mages using ice spells that are on a low budget.

With 85 Crafting, players may attach a shade skull to the Staff of water, creating a Skeletal staff of water.
