The Rune platebody (t) is a light-blue trimmed version of a rune platebody. It has the same defence stats as a normal rune platebody and thus is purely ornamental in purpose, also used as a sign to display wealth. It requires 40 Defence and the completion of the Dragon Slayer quest to wear. It is a possible reward from Hard treasure trails. This piece of armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill, unlike many scammers would like you to believe (ie. the "Free armour trimming" scam). It is not recommended to bring into dangerous PvP such as the wilderness, because it is no better than the rune platebody and will only make you a more likely target. It is f2p and p2p, and many of the more wealthy free players wear it.

Trivia

Before the graphic update, wearing a Rune platebody (t) and a Holy symbol made it look almost like a Saradomin platebody.
