Black heraldic armour set 4 (lg) is made by exchanging all the components of a set of Black h4 heraldic armour (except plateskirts) with a Grand Exchange clerk. Players can then exchange the set with a Grand Exchange clerk to receive the items individual items. The set is purely to save space and for use in the Grand Exchange. It is made with, or can be exchanged for, a Black helm (h4), a Black platebody (h4), Black platelegs (h4) and a Black kiteshield (h4).
Unlike (g), (t), and god trimmed armour, heraldic helmets once looked rather like buckets on the wearer's head rather than a trimmed version of a full helm. After the 2012 Armour graphic update this is no longer the case. In fact, all 9 styles became much sought after following the introduction of the new look.
