The Adamant cane is obtained as a reward from level 2 Treasure Trails. As opposed to standard adamant items, only level 28 Attack is needed to equip this item. It is not used often as a weapon, since it is essentially a weaker version of the adamant mace, although some players use it as a show of wealth. The adamant cane is usually worn with Elegant clothing in a further show of wealth. An adamant cane is one of the few adamant weapons that cannot be made. Like all treasure trail items, the cane can be stored in a Treasure chest in a Player-owned house.

This cane is topped with a cut ruby gem. Many players avoid the adamant cane because of its awkward colour combination. It used to be the least popular and cheapest of the canes, but the rune cane has fallen out of favour and both varieties now sell for about the same amount on the Grand Exchange.

A glitch exists in which the Adamant cane, and its counterparts attack from several spaces away, this can be done by running at an enemy from far away. This is rarely used to attack enemies before other players.
