Corrupt statius's platebody is part of the Corrupt Statius's Equipment set which is obtained by killing Revenants or the Chaos Elemental.

It requires 20 Defence and lasts for 15 minutes. After the time is up, the platebody will vanish.

This platebody currently has the second best Strength bonus in the game for chest armour, behind only Vesta's chainbody. It is considered the best platebody in the game since it has the highest slash and stab defence bonus of any other platebody, excluding the Daemonheim platebodies (Katagon Platebody, Gorgonite Platebody, Promethium Platebody and the Primal Platebody). It is possible to sell this item on the Grand Exchange for upwards of 10m, but more commonly sells for around the price of 4m-5m.

Due to the same bonuses it gives as the regular verison, it is popular with the low-moderate level PKers due to the strength and attack bonuses, but not as well as the Corrupt vesta's chainbody. The reason for its high price is because of the rarity of this item, and the strength and attack bonuses that it gives.
