A Rune helm (h3) is a helmet obtained from a Hard clue scroll or bought from other players. It cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Though it has the same bonuses as a rune full helm, it used to cost more, but after the Elite treasure trails update the price plummeted as a result of the increased reward rate.
