History

On 1 July 2008, the plume was changed from grey to red. Some players were outraged as it made it look like a Zamorak full helm, only black. This update caused the price of the helm to increase drastically.

On 19 August 2008, the plume changed back from red to grey. This outraged some players because some people wore the helmet with a red plume to look like a black knight.
