An Earth staff is a mage weapon that can only be made, used, and found within Daemonheim. At level 20 Runecrafting an Earth Staff can be imbued from a Tier 2 or higher staff. It has the same function as a staff of earth, while it is wielded, it provides infinite earth runes for casting spells. It is also a drop from the Unholy cursebearer.
Making money
Note: This method assumes that each item is purchased from the Smuggler.
One way of turning a profit in Daemonheim is to craft and High Alch Earth Staves. In order to do this, one must be on Complexity 3 or above, and have the following levels:
- Runecrafting: 20 to make the staves, 44 if crafting Nature rune
- Fletching: 18
- Magic: 55
The steps to make a profit are as follows:
- Purchase Seeping elm branches, 1 Blood spindle branch, and Rune essence.
- Craft a Fire staff with the Blood spindle branches.
- Fletch the Seeping elm branches into Seeping elm staves.
- Create 1 Nature rune for every 5 Fire runes. Fire runes can be skipped if one has the Fire staff.
- Imbue the Seeping elm staves into Earth staves at the Runecrafting altar.
- Cast High Level Alchemy on the staves.
To make profit off of one staff, you will need 1 Rune essence (50 gp) and 1 Seeping elm branch (600 gp). Earth staves high alchemize for 816 gp. This will net you a profit of 166 gp.
