The Saradomin platebody is a decorated rune platebody that is affiliated with the god Saradomin. Sharing the same stats as the rune platebody, the Saradomin platebody also looks visually similar. Its appearance differs in that the plate features an ornamental white trim around the symbol of Saradomin. The platebody requires 40 defence to wear and cannot be made using the smithing skill. Like the rune platebody, the Saradomin platebody also requires the completion of the Dragon slayer quest to equip. Players can obtain a Saradomin platebody as a reward from completing a level 3 Treasure Trail, from burning a Vyre Corpse at Paterdomus, or from trading with other players.

This platebody is a constituent of the Saradomin armour set which consists of the following items: Saradomin full helm, Saradomin platebody, Saradomin platelegs or Saradomin plateskirt, and Saradomin kiteshield—all of which are decorative versions of their respective rune armour counterparts. Players wielding any piece featured in this set of armour will cause followers of Saradomin to become unaggressive upon entering the God Wars Dungeon.

Trivia

• The RuneScape guide on Tutorial Island used to wear what seemed to be a red version of this platebody.
• There is currently a glitch that occurs when the player is wearing a Saradomin platebody along with a 2h sword of any kind. This causes the left shoulder plate to deform and stretch backwards.
