The Guthix platebody is a decorated rune platebody that is affiliated with the god Guthix. Sharing the same stats as the rune platebody, the Guthix platebody also looks visually similar. Its appearance differs in that the plate features an ornamental white trim around the symbol of Guthix. The platebody requires 40 defence to wear and cannot be made using the smithing skill. Like the rune platebody, the Guthix platebody also requires the completion of the Dragon slayer quest to equip. Players can obtain a Guthix platebody as a reward from completing a level 3 Treasure Trail, from burning a Vyre Corpse at Paterdomus, or from trading with other players.

This platebody is a constituent of the Guthix armour set which consists of the following items: Guthix full helm, Guthix platebody, Guthix platelegs or Guthix plateskirt, and Guthix kiteshield—all of which are decorative versions of their respective rune armour counterparts.
