The Bandos kiteshield is a decorated rune kiteshield that is affiliated with the god Bandos. Sharing the same stats as the rune kiteshield, the Bandos kiteshield also looks visually similar. Its appearance differs in that the shield features an ornamental brown trim around the symbol of Bandos. The shield requires 40 defence to wear and cannot be made using the smithing skill. Players can obtain a Bandos kiteshield either as a reward from completing a level 4 Treasure Trail or from trading with other players.

This kiteshield is a constituent of the Bandos armour set which consists of the following items: Bandos full helm, Bandos platebody, Bandos platelegs or Bandos plateskirt, and Bandos kiteshield—all of which are decorative versions of their respective rune armour counterparts. Players wielding any piece featured in this set of armour will cause followers of Bandos to become unaggressive upon entering the God Wars Dungeon.
