Corrupt vesta's plateskirt is a rare and powerful drop from killing Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon, or as a very rare drop from the Chaos Elemental. It, along with Corrupt vesta's chainbody surpassed the Bandos chestplate and Bandos tassets in having the maximum Strength bonus.

This skirt is more based on offensive stats rather than defensive stats, while Statius's platelegs is based on defensive stats.

The corrupt version requires 20 Defence for 15 minutes of combat (including having it equipped), while the normal version requires 78 Defence and lasts for an hour of combat. After the time is up, the plateskirt disintegrates.

The alchemy values on the corrupt items are far less than on the non-corrupt items, which is handy for people who wish to use the equipment without risking high-value yet low-alchemy value items, such as chaotic items or dragon claws. (This no longer matters due to the Item's kept upon death update).
