Detailed Adamant bolts.

Adamant bolts can be made using the Smithing skill from an Adamant bar at level 73 for 62.5 experience per bar, producing 10 adamant bolts (unf) per bar. Attaching one feather per bolt with level 61 Fletching, at 7 exp per bolt or 70 experience per set of 10 bolts produces the finished product. Then, bolt tips (made by using a chisel on a cut gem) can be attached to them and subsequently enchanted for different effects. The two gems that can be attached are ruby and diamond, resulting in ruby bolts and diamond bolts respectively. The two bolts previously mentioned only work with an adamant, rune, Armadyl or chaotic crossbow.

Many people choose to use Broad-tipped bolts for training and general ranging instead, because their ranged attack strength equals that of Adamant bolts, and are cheaper to use. However, broad-tipped bolts are only able to be used with a rune, Armadyl or chaotic crossbow, require 55 slayer, and cannot be poisoned, meaning they have a higher requirement to use.
