Examine | Arrows with iron heads. |
Weight | 0 kg |
Iron arrows are the second weakest arrows in RuneScape but also the most used, they can be used on any ordinary bow, and are stackable. They can be created through the Fletching skill at level 15 by using 15 iron arrow tips on 15 headless arrows, granting 37.5 Fletching experience. One place to get iron arrows quickly would be the at the Stronghold of Security, located below Gunnarsgrunn. In the first floor of the Stronghold, players can find Minotaurs, which can drop from five to twenty-four iron arrows when killed. Another way is to wear Ava's attractor/accumulator.
Telegrab would be a poor choice unless it permits the retrieval of over 20-25 arrows per Law rune. It is very likely that players will not reach this amount of arrows shot per monster.

Creation Tips
Unlike Bronze arrows, iron arrows seem to sell very quickly at the Grand Exchange or on world 2 (a popular trading world), making it a popular choice to fletch for low-levelled fletchers. In the Varrock area, players can mine iron at either mining site south of the city, go to Edgeville to smelt the ore, and use the anvils south of the Varrock East Bank to smith Iron arrowtips. For Feathers and Arrow shafts, players can retrieve them in the area of the Champions' Guild.
Similarly, Lumbridge offers the same service, with iron ore available in the Al Kharid Mine, feathers obtainable in a farm north of the city, trees in-between these two areas, and a furnace and anvil for smelting and smithing the ores.
Store locations
This item can also be bought or sold at:

Trivia
- Iron Arrows used to be a members only feature after the release of pay-to-play.
