Iron sq shield

An Iron square shield is the second weakest square shield in RuneScape. A player with 23 Smithing can make the shield by using two iron bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 50 Smithing experience. This shield can also be bought at Cassie's Shield Shop in northern Falador and Horvik's Armour Shop in Varrock. This shield is also required for an emote Treasure trail clue. It sells to the specialised store for 50 GP at all times since the update to RuneScape shops on the 11th of April 2012.
