Novite arrows are the lowest tier of arrows available in Dungeoneering. They are currently the weakest arrows available in the game, though they cannot be used out of Daemonheim. They have a +4 Ranged strength bonus, while Bronze arrows or Training arrows have a +7 Ranged strength bonus. Novite arrows may be fletched (from Novite arrowheads, Feathers and Tangle gum branches), acquired as a drop from monsters, bought from the Smuggler for 40 gold or found on the starting benches. Like all five tiers of arrows sold by the Smuggler, it is cheaper to buy them from the shop than fletch them from tangle gum branches, feathers and metal. They may be used with any bow found or made within Daemonheim.
Poisoned Versions
These arrows also can be poisoned by using different levels of Weapon poison (Dungeoneering) on them. The available types of poison to use include weak poison, weapon poison, and strong weapon poison. When this is done, the terms p, p+, and p++ are placed after the name to show that they have been poisoned.
It is often uneconomical to poison arrows in dungeoneering, however, as the time and money used to mix poison and poison arrows that might be lost can be better spent moving through dungeons. However, it can be effective to bind poisoned arrows instead of normal arrows just for the extra damage.
