Bathus arrows are Tier 2 arrows used in Dungeoneering. They can be bought from the Smuggler at complexity level 5 or 6, or made from the Fletching and Smithing skills using bathus bar/ore and headless arrows. Additionally, they can be obtained as drops from Forgotten rangers that are equipped with a seeping elm longbow or shortbow.
Their Ranged Strength bonus is 1 higher than bronze arrows and Training arrows.
Bathus arrows require level 10 Ranged to equip. Up to 125 arrows can be bound to your character at any one time. This is increased to 225 after completing the Salt in the Wound quest.
Poisoned Versions
These arrows also can be poisoned by using different levels of Weapon poison on them. The available types of poison to use include weak poison, weapon poison, and strong weapon poison. When this is done, the terms p, p+, and p++ are placed after the name to show that they have been poisoned.
It is often uneconomical to poison arrows in dungeoneering, as the time and money used to mix poison and poison arrows that might be lost can be better spent moving through dungeons. However, it can be effective to bind poisoned arrows instead of normal arrows for the extra damage in a difficult fight.
