Promethium arrows is an item released with the Dungeoneering update. Known monsters to drop Promethium arrows are high levelled Forgotten rangers and the Sagittare and Skeletal trio bosses. They are more often spotted when dungeoneering in groups of two or more in large or medium maps. It is highly recommended to bind these arrows as soon as you spot them for their ranged bonus. These are the stongest arrows a player can make while Dungeoneering.
Their Ranged Strength bonus is 6 higher than adamant arrows.
It can be made by attaching Promethium arrowtips to Headless arrows with the fletching skill, at level 99, and can be wielded at ranged level 90. It is best to use tangle gum arrow shafts instead of other logs, because it would just make the same arrow and tangle gum branches are the cheapest.
Poisoned Versions
These arrows also can be poisoned by using different levels of Weapon poison (Dungeoneering) on them. The available types of poison to use include weak poison, weapon poison, and strong weapon poison. When this is done, the terms p, p+, and p++ are placed after the name to show that they have been poisoned.
It is often uneconomical to poison arrows in dungeoneering, however, as the time and money used to mix poison and poison arrows that might be lost can be better spent moving through dungeons. However, it can be effective to bind poisoned arrows instead of normal arrows just for the extra damage.
