Examine | Can only be fired from yew, magic, or dark bows. |
Weight | 0 kg |
Ice arrows are found in the Temple of Ikov, and can only be fired from a Yew shortbow, Yew longbow, Yew comp bow, Magic shortbow, Magic longbow, Magic comp bow, or a Dark bow. You can also fire them using a Seercull bow and the sacred clay bow (though neither is mentioned in the examine text).
Players have to use them to defeat The Fire Warrior of Lesarkus fought during the Temple of Ikov quest, who cannot be defeated by any other means. Ice arrows can also be used to defeat Fareed from the Desert Treasure quest, as well as Flambeed from Defeating the Culinaromancer, the final sub-quest in Recipe for Disaster. These also respond to Ava's accumulator/attractor. They are the same strength as Steel arrows, both having a ranged strength of +16. Ice arrows cannot be poisoned.
They can only be obtained by opening chests in the temple of Ikov or defeating Lesarkus. The chests randomize each time you find an arrow, so it is possible for the chest to hold them twice and three times in a row. You can switch worlds to reset the chests.
Waterfiends appear to fire these when they use their ranged attack.
