The Yew composite bow is a member's only composite bow that can use arrows up to rune. They require 40 Ranged to use. To obtain a yew composite bow the player can either complete any Level Treasure trail, trade with another player or purchase one off the Grand Exchange. The yew composite bow cannot be made using the Fletching skill.

The yew composite bow is seldom used for combat, since a yew short bow is cheaper, has a faster rate of fire, and has only a slightly lower attack bonus of +47.
