Lantadyme seeds can be planted in a herb patch in order to produce grimy lantadymes. This requires a Farming level of 73.
A nearby gardener will not watch over your growing lantadyme.
Lantadyme seeds can be obtained as a monster drop, by pickpocketing Master Farmers or bought from the Vinesweeper minigame for 7500 points each.
Planting lantadyme seeds is very profitable, so therefore players are advised to make sure that the herb does not die. Supercompost (or Fertile Soil spell) is strongly recommended, as this is the best way of preventing your herbs from getting disease, as it is not possible to water the patch, or ask a farmer to tend the herbs.
The following table shows the profit yield, assuming all the herbs and seeds are purchased/sold at the Grand Exchange, for the guide price. If the herb dies, you will lose −28,328 coins.
Herb yield | Profit/loss | Herb yield | Profit/loss |
1 | −22,326 | 6 | 7,684 |
2 | −16,324 | 7 | 13,686 |
3 | −10,322 | 8 | 19,688 |
4 | −4,320 | 9 | 25,690 |
5 | 1,682 | 10 | 31,692 |
Note: Supercompost yields a minimum of 5 herbs.
