Tarromin seeds can be planted in a herb patch in order to produce grimy tarromins. This requires a Farming level of 19. Tarromin seeds can be pickpocketed from a Master Farmer.
A nearby gardener will not watch over your growing tarromin.
Grimy tarromins are the second cheapest herbs in RuneScape. Supercompost or Fertile Soil spell is strongly advised against, as although this is the best way of preventing your herbs from getting disease, and it is not possible to water the patch, or ask a farmer to tend the herbs, they both cost far more than the maximum yield of herbs.
The following table shows the profit yield, assuming all the herbs and seeds are purchased/sold at the Grand Exchange, for the guide price. If the herb dies, you will lose −7 coins.
Tarromin usually takes 135 minutes (2 hours and 15 minutes) to grow (with compost).
Tarromin seeds may be bought from the Vinesweeper minigame for 10 points each.
Herb yield | Profit/loss | Herb yield | Profit/loss |
1 | 49 | 6 | 329 |
2 | 105 | 7 | 385 |
3 | 161 | 8 | 441 |
4 | 217 | 9 | 497 |
5 | 273 | 10 | 553 |
Note: Supercompost yields a minimum of 5 herbs.
