A grimy lantadyme is a herb that has not yet been cleaned to make a clean lantadyme. Grimy lantadymes may be grown from a lantadyme seed with a farming level of 73. It is also dropped by certain NPCs. Cleaning a grimy lantadyme requires a herblore level of 67 and gives 13.1 herblore experience. Clean lantadymes are used to make antifire potions and Magic potions with a Herblore level of 69 and 76 respectively. When planting and harvesting lantadymes you will receive 134 experience for planting, and 151.5 experience for harvesting. With a Herblore level of 90, the clean herb can be used to make Extreme defence potions by mixing the herb into a super defence potion.
Grimy lantadymes may be obtained from the Sorceress's Garden minigame, and are dropped fairly often by thugs and aberrant spectres.
