Rune god armour
God armour is one of the more expensive armour types in RuneScape. It can be obtained from Level 3 and 4 Treasure Trails, and on very rare occasions from cremating Vyre corpses. As the name implies, each set is affiliated with a particular god: Guthix, Saradomin, Zamorak, Armadyl, Bandos, or Zaros. The armour gives the same defensive bonuses as Rune armour, but is trimmed with a colour (green for Guthix, white for Saradomin, red for Zamorak, silverish white for Armadyl, brown for Bandos and purple for Zaros (ancient) and has each god's symbol. Contrary to popular belief, this armour does not give a prayer bonus or “favour from the Gods”. However, wearing the armour of the corresponding God will make creatures in the God Wars Dungeon unaggressive towards a player, with the exception of Guthix who is not represented there. Note that Zaros (ancient) armour will not make creatures in the Zaros area of God wars Dungeon unaggressive towards you.
Wearing the armour requires level 40 Defence, and wearing the platebodies requires completion of the quest Dragon Slayer.
These armours were graphically updated on 6 March 2012.
