Cave bugs can be assigned as Slayer assignments, and require level 7 Slayer to kill. Bring food if you are below level 20, as they regenerate quickly. Those of level 96 are good monsters to kill for Green charms.

Trivia

• The level 6 version can restore up to 30 life points in between attacks.
• This is the second highest level monster to drop a level 1 clue scroll, at level 96. Orks drop level 1 clue scrolls as well.
• When you kill the level 96 version, their legs fall apart, and they explode. The explosion deals no damage so you can see it up close.
• You gain 27xp for one hitting the level 6 Cave Bugs, but you can get between 48-54xp if you use a Dragon Dagger special attack. This is unknown to be a glitch at this point in time.
