The Dagannoth Supreme is the Ranged Dagannoth King found on Waterbirth Island and is normally targeted by warriors.

Dagannoth Supreme strategy

Dagannoth Supreme is one of the less deadly Dagannoth Kings, but he still hits very high with his Range attacks, which can hit up to 300 LP. Mages should avoid Supreme and instead worry about Dagannoth Rex. However, once he has a player in his sights, he will start sending barbs onto players. This can be very deadly if Prime is still on the field, as players will need to take the brunt of Supreme's deadly multi-hitting magical ranged attacks.

Supreme has a very low defence aganist melee and range attacks. A player using an Abyssal whip and 99 Attack will find themselves hitting Supreme for almost every hit.

What could go wrong

• The main thing that can go wrong is when Prime is dead and respawns while killing Supreme. To save yourself, turn on protect from magic. You can either stick around or leave up the ladder.

• Another mishap is that the same thing that is listed above happens, but with Rex instead. If this happens, try to put Supreme between you and Rex, and if you are a mage distract him again like in first wave. However, the mage should feel no inclination to kill Rex; just lure him away. Another strategy is to make use of the Ancient magicks spells such as Ice barrage to deal with Rex (Only applies to soloing).

Trivia

• If his ranged attack fails to hit you, it seems to splash as if a spell cast had failed. A splashing sound can also be heard.
• If you receive a Dragon hatchet, Seercull, Archer's ring or special items (like a Shield left half), your Adventurer's log will say "After killing a Dagannoth Supreme, it dropped a [special item]." The "a" would make it seem as if Dagannoth Supreme is a type of species.
• Dagannoth Supreme annihilated the Bukulla, a race about which little is known.
