Vyrelords are found during the quest The Branches of Darkmeyer in the high tier area within Darkmeyer. They're aggressive unless you are wearing the full Darkmeyer disguise. All the unattackable NPCs in the area will also shout "Human!"
They are the male version of the Vyrelady.
Fighting them
Vyrelords can be fought with any armour; however, they are completely impervious to most weapons and poisons. They can only be poisoned with a Dreadnip, but otherwise they are only vulnerable to the Ivandis flail and Blisterwood weapons. The special attack of the goliath gloves will damage them, although this is not a viable method for damaging them.
The corpses these drop can be cremated in the Paterdomus Columbarium. Cremating 500 corpses is a requirement for the Completionist Cape (t), as well as making the Blisterwood weapons and Flail more effective at killing Vyre monsters.
Please note that despite the bodies of Vyrelords, Vyreladies, and Vyrewatch of all different levels are identical (save a slight difference in appearance), they are considered different items and cannot stack with each other in your bank (similar vyre corpses will however still stack).
Since the update which enabled them to drop charms and ancient effigies, Vyrelords and Vyreladies have become one of the best sources of Ancient effigies, as their high combat level results in a greater drop rate compared to weaker monsters, yet they can be easily killed with the blisterwood weapons.
A great method to kill these monsters is to use the altar located west of the Darkmeyer bank which allows you to use all your prayers whilst they aggressively swarm towards you and to recharge your prayer points easily.
Melee
They are good for training due to the increased hits provided by the use of Blisterwood weapons, all of which hit very high on them. The polearm is notably effective, and can easily hit over 800 with sufficient bonuses, like using Turmoil and an Extreme set. An Ivandis flail may also be used, but this is not advised due to the flail's slightly lower stats and slower attack speed compared to the polearm. The only reason could be the special effect, but once Blisterwood weapons are 'unlocked' even that is less useful.
Magic
Although magic attacks with the Blisterwood staff also work on them, they are very resistant to it. If maging them, high-level magic equipment or a void magic set is strongly recommended. However, using ranged (Blisterwood stakes) seem to be highly effective, even at lower levels, especially when using ranged boosting prayers or potions.
Ranged
With blisterwood weapons mastered (500 corpses burnt), using blisterwood stakes and extreme ranging potions to kill the vyrelords gives upwards of 160k ranged experience per hour, and with easy access to an altar, one can stay here for a very long time by using protect from or deflect melee prayers and with little attention as the vyrelords are aggressive when not wearing the darkmeyer disguise. There are also safe spots.
