A Strong magic potion is a one dose potion made in the Dungeoneering skill. Using the potion boosts a player's Magic level by 6 + 20% of their Magic level.
It is made by adding Winter's grip and Void dust to a Vial of water. This requires level 69 Herblore and grants 155.5 experience in Herblore. This potion can only be made in dungeons with complexity level ≥5.
The true value of a magic boost in Daemonheim has been debated; it has been resolved that Dungeoneering magic boosts have a maximum damage increase cap of 21% from potions. Therefore, the only advantages of this potion over the lower level potions, Magic and Weak magic potions, are the increase in magical accuracy and duration of boost, as well as the ability to cast spells well above your ordinary abilities, or restore your magic when drained.
