A Saradomin brew flask is a potion flask originally containing six doses of Saradomin brew. It is created by using Saradomin brew on a potion flask.

Saradomin brew raises your life points by 15% + 20. It can go over your maximum LP by 15%, however, this boost is temporary. It increases your Defence by 25% while temporarily draining your Strength, Attack, Magic and Ranged by 10%.

The flask is made by blowing robust glass, requiring 89 Crafting and giving 100 experience. Red sandstone can be mined at Oo'glog and smelted using the Robust glass machine also located at Oo'glog.

To decant the potion into the flask, one must have at least 6 doses of Saradomin brew in their inventory, as well as one or more potion flasks. Using the flask on the potion will open a menu to decant them. The optimal inventory setup for decanting potions is 17 4-dose potions and 11 flasks.

Only the original, six-dose potion is tradeable. Once the potion has been partially drunk, no more doses can be added to it. After all six doses have been consumed, the flask will shatter and disappear.

If the full, 6-dosed version of this potion is consumed, each dose would cost about Expression error: Unexpected < operator. coins.

Use

It is universally advised to only use this in combination with regular restore, super restore, or overload potions in order to counteract the draining of the player's Attack, Strength, Magic and Range stats. Without using restore potions the Saradomin brew will reduce a player's levels to under level 10 within 5-8 doses, depending on the player's stats. As this effectively defeats the point of using it by quickly rendering players nearly incapable of doing damage, it is generally avoided.

The brew is widely known to be the item that heals the highest non-stackable life points per inventory spot. The only better methods are the Unicorn Stallion's healing aura scroll and purple sweets which can be stacked for, at maximum, approximately 42 billion life points. (Players can hold roughly 2 billion of any stackable item, if they can obtain that many.) Brews are commonly used in places such as in the TzHaar Fight Cave while attempting to obtain a Fire cape, in high-levelled Player killing, during Barrows runs (to decrease the number of bank trips required), and are even used in Nomad's Requiem as a popular strategy to defeat Nomad. The saradomin brew flask, if wearing full ancient armour, will heal about 1371 lifepoints, over 6 doses. The flask is more commonly used than the 4 dose potion because it will shatter when empty; reducing the risk of using an empty vial on a brew, which does nothing and doesn't heal, which may lead to death.

Note: The Saradomin brew may not be consumed in Clan Wars or when duelling if food has been disabled. Strangely when on the price checker, the flask with 1-5 doses left have prices.
