Clean buckthorn is a herb dropped by some monsters in Daemonheim for the Dungeoneering skill. Grimy buckthorn can also be grown from a Buckthorn seed with a farming level of 95. It is the highest level herb found in Daemonheim, requiring a Herblore level of 74 to clean, granting 13.4 Herblore experience. This is currently the highest task used with the Farming skill (besides Gorged ancient effigies).
It can be used with a vial of water to make the following potions:
