The Blood tiara is a Runecrafting item that is used to craft Blood runes. It is made by combining a Blood talisman with a tiara at the Blood altar. Doing so earns you 52.5 Runecrafting experience. It is recommended to use a Blood tiara instead of a Blood talisman, as the tiara is wearable, freeing up a space in your inventory.

Blood runecrafting was released on 22 April 2008 as a reward from the Legacy of Seergaze quest. The Blood altar is located beneath Meiyerditch, a long distance from any bank, making the crafting of blood runes difficult and time consuming.

The Blood tiara can be used on the wicked hood, giving the hood two free teleports to the blood altar, and 5 free blood runes every day. This will consume the tiara.

Trivia

  • Before the official release of the Legacy of Seergaze quest the image of the Blood tiara was discovered on the Jagex website before its release via URL manipulation, leading many at the time to believe that Blood Runecrafting would be made available quickly. Jagex responded to the discovery by removing the blood tiara image from the website.
