Merchant (Polypore Dungeon)

The Merchant (previously known as strange voice) is found on the first level of Polypore Dungeon near the entrance. He owns and operates Polypore Dungeon Supplies, where he sells players items that can be of use in the dungeon, such as jugs. He also sells mycelium web armour, which is magic armour in its own and can be used with drops from the dungeon to create fungal armour, grifolic armour, and ganodermic armour.
The merchant can also be used to store certain Polypore-specific items by right-clicking and selecting Exchange. He will store fungal flakes, grifolic flakes, ganodermic flakes, polypore spores, and neem oil. If the player has multiple jugs of neem oil, the one with the most doses would be stored. If two of more jugs have the same amount of doses, the one coming first in the inventory would be stored. Players can store one jug of neem oil and up to 8191 polypore spores, 8191 fungal flakes, 8191 grifolic flakes, and 8191 ganodermic flakes and at a time.
When asked about himself, the Merchant tells a short story of how he used to "live in a little house in a warm land", with his "Darling". He then goes on to tell how his Darling died of some illness, and then he wandered off and presumably went insane. Eventually he found "Ladyship", or the Ramokee Skinweaver, for whom he now works.
Trivia
- When standing next to the Merchant, a unique music track plays.
- The way he speaks and by how he references his Darling and the Ladyship, may be a reference to Gollum from the Lord of the Rings and his "Precious" the One Ring, and Shelob.
