The Fungal rodent is a monster found within the Polypore Dungeon. They are surprisingly resistant to melee and ranged attacks, so magic is recommended to kill them. If players come closer than one square away from it, it will infest them, dealing fast damage of 2 or 3 life points. However, this can be prevented by using neem oil on it; also, this infestation has a chance of reducing your Prayer points. Once a player uses the oil, the rodent will drop a random item accompanied by a neem drupe.
