An unstrung emerald amulet (in-game: Emerald amulet) is the unstrung version of the regular emerald amulet. It is made by using a Gold bar on a furnace, while having a cut emerald and an amulet mould in your inventory or toolbelt.

Level 31 Crafting is required to make one, yielding 70 experience. If this amulet is used with a ball of wool, it will form an un-enchanted emerald amulet, giving 4 Crafting experience. An un-enchanted amulet can be enchanted into an Amulet of defence. If this amulet is used with a magic string instead, it becomes a Pre-nature amulet. This amulet can then be enchanted into an Amulet of nature.

It cannot be used in any way before it is strung.
