An Amulet of power is generally agreed to be the best amulet available to free-to-play players, offering a good balance of attack and defence bonuses for all classes of combat. It is created by casting Enchant Level 4 Jewellery on a diamond amulet. As it has no requirements to wear, this amulet is very popular in free-to-play worlds. It gives the highest ranged attack bonus available to free players. Overall, it offers the fourth highest ranged attack bonus, next to the Amulet of glory/Amulet of fury, Amulet of ranging and Saradomin's murmur. It's also an item that can be required for a Treasure Trail emote clue.

This item is a less expensive option for members who do not wish to buy an Amulet of glory. However, it has no teleportation capabilities, although it does have better defence bonuses than the Amulet of glory.

Davon in Brimhaven buys Amulets of power. He used to offer prices higher than the market price at the Grand Exchange and used to offer even better prices if wearing any Karamja gloves, but this is no longer true.
