Corrupt vesta's longsword is obtained by killing Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon or as a very rare drop from the Chaos Elemental.

The corrupt version requires 20 Attack for 15 minutes of wielding, while the normal version requires 78 Attack and lasts for an hour of combat. After the time is up, the longsword will vanish.

It is currently one of the best weapons available in RuneScape. This is because its speed makes it a fast alternative to the Godsword. However, this weapon is extremely expensive considering its short time-limit. The Corrupt version does not have the special attack.

The longsword is a one-handed weapon, and thus a shield can be used with it. With a dragon defender, its accuracy far surpasses the Godsword's. The longsword's Strength bonus is also comparable to the Godsword.

As 15 minutes contain 1500 ticks and the sword hits once per 5 ticks, you are able to hit 300 hits with this sword before it degrades. Thus, each hit costs approximately Expression error: Unexpected < operator. This weapon is very handy for pures with low attack levels. It only requires an attack level of 20 yet hits very high. However, it costs a lot and only lasts for 15 minutes of wielding.
