Black key red is a key and reward from the activity Shades of Mort'ton played in Mort'ton. To obtain it, the player must kill either a Riyl shade or a Asyn shade and then burn its remains on a pyre. The key may be used to enter the shade catacombs and then open the correctly coloured chest. It will open a black-framed chest with a red lock. This type of key can only be used to open up to black black doors.
