Augury is a prayer that increases Magic accuracy by 20% and Defence by 25%. It requires both level 77 Prayer and level 77 Dungeoneering to use. Augury currently has the highest prayer level required for any prayer in the default prayer book. To unlock this prayer, the Scroll of augury must be purchased at a one-time cost of 153,000 Dungeoneering tokens.

Considering the boosts and prayer level required, this prayer may be considered the magic equivalent of the melee prayer Piety.

Combat beta changes

After the combat update, the Augury prayer will be unlocked by completing the Knight Waves Training, rather than buying it from the Rewards trader.

Trivia

• This is the only magic boosting prayer in the standard prayer book that does not have the word "Mystic" in its name.
• If you try to set Augury as one of your Quick Prayers before unlocking it, the message reads: "You can buy this prayer from Daemonheim. You also need a Prayer level of 74.". However, this is wrong, as you actually need a Prayer level of 77 for Augury and 74 for Rigour.
