Rapid Heal is a Prayer that doubles the rate at which the user's life points are restored.
Rapid Heal does not drain the user's prayer points quickly, but this prayer is nevertheless not commonly preferred among players who are in combat, since the replenishing rate of LP is rather slow even with it activated. Using food or a healing familiar such as a Bunyip is recommended and generally preferred.
Notwithstanding, it can still be a useful extra boost to food when training agility or thieving, particularly in conjunction with a bracelet of regeneration.
Uses
- Training: turn it on the moment you start training, along with various prayer boosting equipment, such as an Amulet of Glory. This may provide you with 300+ life points, depending on how long you stay in the area, your prayer level, and whether or not you use other prayers.
- Playing Fist of Guthix, Clan Wars, or Castle Wars.
- Healing while staying in safe spots when food stock is running low; this option will save food. It can be slow, but is also convenient.
- In tandem with Bracelet of Regeneration, the Constitution cape and a healing familiar (such as a Void spinner or a Bunyip) and resting to make healing faster. It cannot be combined with Rapid Renewal, though.
- Using the Saradomin Godsword special, Healing Blade, is fast enough to regenerate prayer while rapid heal is on, assuming that your attack does not miss.
