The Scroll of rigour is a members-only reward that can be purchased with tokens earned through the Dungeoneering skill. It requires a Prayer level of 74 and a Dungeoneering level of 74 to purchase. Once used, this scroll will disappear, giving you the ability to use the Rigour prayer, which increases your ranged attack by 20% and your Defence by 25% while active.
Purchasing the scroll requires 140,000 tokens. Obtaining tokens solely through the completion of dungeons would put a player at level 77. At level 74, the additional tokens could only otherwise be earned by completing the Nadir saga 12 times (on different days).
After using the Read option of the Scroll of rigour, the item will disappear and the following message will appear in the chat: The secret is yours! You read the scroll and unlock the ability to use the Rigour prayer.
The Rigour prayer currently grants the greatest increase to a player's ranged attack (+20%) , and can only be matched by combining Eagle Eye (+15%) and Amulet of zealots (+5%) although that will give a large prayer penalty (-8) and occupies the neck-wear slot. However, the Amulet of zealots and Eagle Eye are available in free-to-play while Rigour is not.
