The Dragon square shield (or) is a Dragon sq shield after being used with a Dragon sq shield ornament kit (or). It was released on 4 August 2010 with the Treasure Trails update. The ornament kit is only obtainable as a reward from elite clue scrolls, the Grand Exchange, or from trading other players.
It has the same stats as a regular Dragon sq shield, and serves no other purpose than making the Dragon sq shield look fancier. This shield is commonly thought of as gold-trimmed Dragon armour. Many players don't use this for fighting as it is very expensive, hence why some people will use it to display their wealth.
