Thieving in Daemonheim is only accessible to Pay-to-play players. It is used to unlock padlocked doors and open locked chests while raiding a dungeon floor over complexity 5. The ghost puzzle room with a sarcophagus in the middle of the room requires the thieving skill as well.

A chest in Daemonheim.

Loot

File:Dungeoneering thieving glitch.png
An inaccessible chest, since the anvil is directly in front of the chest; the only place from which the chest may be opened

The loot is generally based on the level needed to open the chest.

Trivia

  • A glitch still exists whereby it is possible for the dungeoneering map generator to spawn chests in inaccessible places, usually because opening a chest requires a player to be directly in front of it.
  • There is a possibility that opening a chest may only give you a banana. When opening the chest a message says "You open the chest and find... a banana."
