The Corrupt dragon sq shield was released on 15 October 2008 along with the PvP worlds. It is the strongest shield available to non-members, but it crumbles to dust after 30 minutes of wielding. It requires 60 Defence to wield. This item has the same stats as the normal member version of the Dragon sq shield but it does not need the player to have done Legend's quest to wield it.

Players can receive this item either by trading with another player, or by receiving it as a very rare drop from killing Revenants or the Chaos Elemental.
