Paladins are found in East Ardougne, wandering near the castle and market. They are from Ardougne's Holy Order of Paladins, and wear the symbol of Saradomin.

Players can pickpocket Paladins at level 70 Thieving to gain 151.8 experience, 80 coins and 2 chaos runes, and possibly a court summons

Combat

Not many people train Combat on paladins, as they have mediocre drops (probably the most notable of the drops being level 2 clue scrolls), and they can hit up to 89 lifepoints, and often do.

Paladins will attack players that they catch trying to steal from the silver stall, gem stall, and spice stall, but will, if nearby, also attack a player if they attempt to talk to the owner of a stall recently stolen from by the respective player.

A good strategy when training on Paladins is by using Protect from Melee then restoring your prayer points by the nearby altar. Keep repeating the process to prevent any excessive health loss. Healing using food stolen from nearby stalls is also an alternative.

Paladins are weak to Magic and stab attacks, the latter being unusual for a platebody and square shield-wearing NPC.

Trivia

• Although paladins have beards, their icon in the Thieving skill guide is clean-shaven.
• Although in RuneScape, paladins are almost twice the level of White Knights, in Armies of Gielinor, the Funorb game, they are a level 1 unit with 10 strength while White Knights are level 2 units with 25 strength.
• On the rare occasion a Paladin catches you stealing from the gem stall they back away instead of moving in to stop you
