A Green dragonhide set is a boxed set of green dragonhide armour, containing a body, vambraces, and chaps. It is the best free-to-play Ranged armour. The set box can be traded for the armour (or vice versa) by talking to a Grand Exchange clerk. The body can only be worn with 40 Ranged and 40 Defence, and after completion of the Dragon Slayer quest. The trimmed or gold-trimmed sets can also be turned into sets. This set does NOT contain the Green dragonhide coif, which is a reward from the Fist of Guthix activity.

Trimmed or gold-trimmed dragonhide has exactly the same bonuses as the regular, non-trimmed armour.

The chaps and vambraces can be purchased at Scavvo's Rune Store in the Champion's Guild south of Varrock, and (for members) at Seddu's Adventurers' Store in Nardah, for 3,900 and 2,500 coins respectively. The body can be purchased from Oziach in Edgeville for 7,800 coins after completion of Dragon Slayer. This comes to a total of 14,200 coins for the individual parts, but the set box is not sold by any stores.

The only item in the set that requires 40 Defence (and completion of Dragon Slayer) to wear is the Green d'hide body. The Green d'hide chaps and Green d'hide vambraces only require 40 Ranged to wear.

When worn together, the set has the following bonuses:

Trivia

  • Individual parts may be exchanged for set boxes to save space in the bank.
  • The arrows on the left leg appear to be steel arrows, and they are there even if you do not have any arrows equipped.
  • Even though this set provides the best F2P range bonus, it is rarely used in high level PvP due to its poor defence bonuses.
