The Gnome amulet is a melee defence amulet attained as a reward for completing the Tree Gnome Village quest. Should the player happen to lose the amulet another can be obtained for free from King Bolren in the Tree Gnome Village. It is made from the same material as the orbs of protection that are retrieved during the quest.

This amulet looks identical to Glarial's amulet from The Waterfall Quest which grants access to the waterfall dungeon. It is also identical in appearance to the crystal pendant given to you by Lord Iorwerth in Regicide. However, the Gnome Amulet offers defensive bonuses that Glarial's amulet and the crystal pendant lack.

This item is generally considered an item for lower-levelled players only due to its popularity with new members and the widespread availability of more versatile alternatives such as the Amulet of glory.

It is occasionally used by player killers due to the item's decent melee defence and the relative ease of obtaining another should it be lost.
