The blood reaver is a creature similar to a bloodveld. It is found in the Ancient Prison in the God Wars Dungeon. Its magic attack cannot be fully blocked with Protect from Magic or Deflect Magic, although most of the damage will be nullified. Blood reavers use an attack that can splash onto nearby players who are not being directly attacked.

Blood reavers may be unaggressive if a player has a certain magic defence bonus. It's different for every player as the bonus and magic levels must both be calculated.

Nex will summon several of these creatures in the third phase of the fight against her, the blood phase.
