The Amulet of Accuracy is a reward for completing the Imp Catcher quest. It was the first amulet in RuneScape. The amulet is a lesser form of an amulet of power in all ways. Contrary to a popular belief held because of the amulet's name, it is not a Ranged-specific amulet, but rather boosts all attack stats equally. It cannot be produced by players, and can only be obtained from completing the quest or buying one from Wizard Mizgog for 5000 coins.

On RuneScape Classic, the amulet of accuracy was, until recently, a discontinued item. This is because it can only be obtained once per account, when they complete Imp Catcher, and no new accounts could be created. Jagex has now started opening RuneScape Classic to new players for two weeks every six months, so it should no longer be quite as rare.

Price manipulation clans chose this item very often, as supply was limited (from new accounts completing Imp Catcher), and demand is moderate for players who have discarded this item wanting to complete a collection of amulets or attempting new training strategies. This ceased to be the case when the ability to buy them was added on 18 October 2010.

• The amulet of accuracy gives the second highest Range attack bonus, next to the Power Amulet, available to Free-To-Play players.
• In a forum post by Mod Mark on October 15 2010, it was stated that in a future update, changes will be made to the amulet that will affect the Grand Exchange value.
• On October 18 2010, Jagex reset the amulet of accuracy's price and set a cap price of 5,100 coins.
• This item used to be obtainable only once, but as of October 18 2010, it can now be bought for 5000 coins from Wizard Mizgog.
• There was a glitch that made the gem in the middle appear green instead of white.
